Writing isn’t about spouting off adjectives to describe a product or service, it’s about relating to your audience by a familiar connection. I am an experienced writer who understands that connection and that a creative approach to writing is what generates interest in content.
My writing experience ranges from copywriting to journalism, and some of my latest work has been published with Rangefinder magazine, calumetphoto.com, Chicago Public Radio (NPR) and Newcity magazine. I’ve spent a number of years writing specifically for the web and several others for print publication, so I’m familiar with the intricacies of each.

I earned my undergraduate degree in English Studies (with a focus in technical writing) with a minor in writing from Illinois State University. A few years later I went back to school and earned my MFA in creative writing from Columbia College Chicago.
